Who can use IndieBuff?
IndieBuff works for everyone, from hobbyists to AAA studios! With IndieBuff, we hope to drastically lower the entry barrier for aspiring game developers while also creating efficient ways for industry professionals to accelerate their workflow.
Do I have to pay for your plugins?
In short, no! All of IndieBuff's plugins are, and will always be, entirely free to use for your engine of choice. We don't charge users for plugins, we just provide them as a convenience. We have many additional features and advanced functionalities that come with the indie or studio plans.
What engines do you support?
IndieBuff currently supports Unity, but we're quickly adding support for other major engines including Unreal, Godot, Roblox, and GameMaker. We plan on releasing public APIs to allow game devs to make plugins for any engine, including their own! If you're interested in creating a plugin for a proprietary engine, please reach out to us.
Why can't I just use ChatGPT, Claude, or any other LLM chats?
IndieBuff provides better responses than vanilla LLM's by having a deeper understanding of your game's code and environment. We also allow you to control your engine with prompts alone, making your game dev experience much more seamless.
