Welcome to the IndieBuff Privacy Policy regarding the various IndieBuff plugins
IndieBuff aims to be a gold standard in transparency and good intentions as a company, and so here we'll outline exactly what we track. We aren't here to steal or sell your data, but just allow you to make the games you want.
This Privacy Policy outlines how IndieBuff (referred to as "IndieBuff," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information in relation to our various game engine plugins. This Privacy Notice is meant to provide information about our privacy practices, but it is not a contract and does not create any legal rights or obligations not otherwise provided by law.
Personal Data
The only personal data we store is the information you provide during registration, such as your email address or any other optional details you may choose to provide during the registration process. Aside from this, we maintain metrics on activity on servers, such as number of requests, as this is needed to handle abuse and quotas.
Payment information is securely processed by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not directly handle or store payment card details.
Your Code
Your code is not stored by IndieBuff servers. We have a zero-data retention policy for Anthropic models and zero-data retention policies are currently pending for other models.
All indexing for your games code (for IndieBuff to have game engine knowledge) happens locally on your machine.
Logging
When using IndieBuff, we collect anonymous usage information to help us improve the product. All data collected by IndieBuff is anonymized and stripped of any personally identifiable information (PII) before being processed by Telemetry.

- Type of request (e.g., chat)
- Model and command information: name of model and command used
- Requested prompt and AI model response
All previous chats and entire chat history can be deleted by you directly within the Plugins or by reaching out to contact@indiebuff.ai

We may update this Privacy Policy if necessary. The most recent update date is noted at the top of this policy.
